Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to all small and marginal farmers in three equal installments of Rs 6,000 per year.

Application can be made through both online and offline mode

Application for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can be made through online or offline medium. To apply online, farmers will have to visit the official website of PM Kisan Yojana. To apply offline, the farmer will have to go to the agriculture office of his area.

How to apply through online mode

After visiting the official website of PM Kisan Yojana, you have to click on the “New Registration” tab. Now the farmer has to enter his details like name, address, Aadhaar number, bank account number and mobile number. After this the farmer will have to create a password and then click on the “Submit” button.

How to apply offline

To apply offline, farmers can go to the agriculture office of their area. You have to fill the application form and submit the required documents. These include PAN card, bank account passbook, farmer's photo and Aadhar card.
